Autumn/Winter Simple Beauty DIY!

Hey everyone! Tonight I thought I would share a tip with you on how to get or maintain smooth and supple lips during the Autumn and Winter months. I have dry lips all year round but during the colder times of the year my lips look like I don't know what! So to keep them looking good I exfoliate my lips at least once a week with a super simple homemade exfoliator, to get the easy recipe just keep reading.

1/8 teaspoon of olive oil (I sometimes use milk but I prefer olive oil when my lips are really dry.)

1/4 teaspoon of sugar

Instructions:
1. Stir together your mixture of olive oil and sugar, all of the sugar should be coated with olive oil.

2. Once you have done that gently start to rub the mixture onto both your top and bottom lip, I rub for about 10 to 15 seconds on each lip, this is a bit abrasive so if you feel that you can't handle doing it that long stop before then. I would not suggest going any longer than 15 seconds.

3. Rinse the mixture off of your lips (After you have finished exfoliating your lips don't be alarmed if you feel a bit of tingling, this might last for about five minutes.) Once you have rinsed and dried your lips apply a lip balm to keep your lips soft! One of my favorites is Kiss Care lip balm by Essence, it is super cheap ($1.99 at Ulta) and it is tinted.

DISCLAIMER: I am not an Aesthetician, I am not responsible for any problems you may have with this, I just wanted to share what works for me when I exfoliate my lips.

Thank you for reading and be beautiful!
