Covergirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation Review
Hello everyone! Today I will be reviewing the Covergirl Whipped Creme foundation, I picked this foundation up a few days ago and I was so excited because everyone has been talking about this product. I could not find it anywhere until I went to Ulta not too long ago but I was on my way out and did not have the time to get back in line to purchase it. I was recently at Wal-Mart with my Mom and my Aunt and as usual I made my way to the makeup section. I was walking around to see what was new, I came across the new Maybelline Fit Me foundation stick and I thought about getting it then I saw this and I thought I am so totally buying this. I was so excited not just about the product but also because of the price, it was $2.00 cheaper at Wal-Mart! I was so excited I could not wait until the next day to try this on so I went to wash my makeup off and apply this, first let me say that I love the texture of this makeup, it is like non sticky cool whip. I applied a little with my fingers then I got my e.l.f studio powder brush to put the rest on, once I covered my entire face I looked gray! It was the weirdest thing and I found that it was a bit blotchy looking, I love the finish and feel of this foundation so much that I had to try one more time. A couple of days later (yesterday) I was baking and I thought that would be the ideal time to see how this foundation really worked, I also figured it would have time to oxidize. I applied it, kept it on for an hour or so and no oxidation what so ever which I guess is a good thing if the foundation matches your skin perfectly, but in my case I was hoping it did oxidize because it did not match me. I can say that it stands up to the heat pretty well, I baked three batches of cookies so I was opening and closing a 370 degree oven, washing and drying dishes, and my makeup didn't melt off, it got just bit greasy but nothing to bad. I had three problems with this foundation, it made me look gray, it went on blotchy, and the lack of shades (only comes in 10 shades), If you are any darker than me you are pretty much out of luck when it comes to this foundation. Other than that I think this would be a good foundation for someone without a lot blemishes who wanted a semi-matte, lightweight, light coverage foundation. If this foundation didn't go on so blotchy and exaggerate blemishes I would recommend this to someone with acne because of how lightweight it is. If you decide to try this foundation do not look at the lid to determine your shade look through the glass at the actual foundation because the picture printed on the lid is much darker than the actual foundation.
There is 18 mL (0.6 FL OZ) of product in the container, $6.97 at Wal-Mart
Thank you for reading and be beautiful! (^_^)
