Mini Haul!

I picked up a few things and decided to turn it into a mini haul! Everyone has been going crazy over the new Covergirl outlast stay fabulous foundation and it was time for me to buy more foundation, so I thought I would try this. This doundation covers and blends really well but I cannot speak on the lasting power because I have yet to wear it anywhere. I have never had a good experience with Covergirl products but I think this one is a game changer, if you are looking for a new full coverage foundation consider this one. It was $9.79 (excluding taxes) at the Target I went to. I went to Ulta and picked up two of the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in Milk because it was bogo 50% off! I purchased these to use as an eye shadow base to make certain colors pop, I really wanted the actual NYX white base in the jar but it must have been an online exclusive. As an alternative I thought I would try this, I was not disappointed by any means! these are $4.49 each at the Ulta I go to without the bogo 50% off deal. Although I only went into Ulta for this, I just had to look at the NYX lip products and I came across their butter gloss. I had seen these on the Ulta website, made a list of the ones I wanted plus backups just in case they didn't have the ones I wanted, I went out there that day (Without calling to see if they had them, which I normally do.)  and they weren't even carrying them yet. Can someone say DEVASTATED, lol! That day I ended up buying two more of NYX's lip creams, which I love. so when I saw that the lip butters were in I had to try them, I picked up Apple Strudel which is the color pictured below. I must say I was rather disappointed, the color is beautiful but it has no staying power, I would suggest buying one of the e.l.f. glossy glosses. They are almost $2.00 cheaper and last a lot longer, this lip butter was $4.49 at the Ulta I went to. The next thing I got goes along with the eye pencils I bought. When I got these eye pencils I thought like most products like this it came in a twistable tube, but much to my dismay you have to sharpen these. I seriously don't know what the heck NYX was thinking on this one but okay! The pencils are such a good product that I just said I'll bite the bullet and use a pencil I have to sharpen. I also needed to go to Sally's beauty supply to pick up some of their baked eye shadow, so why not kill two birds with one stone I thought. I got this Beautique 3 in 1 sharpener, I was a little taken aback by the price ($3.99) but I thought why not. I then went on to buy my baked eye shadows in the shades Beaming Blue and Your Majesty. They are both absolutely gorgeous colors and are only ¢99 (the best part, right? :-)). I hope you guys enjoyed this mini haul/first impression, if you have any questions about these products leave them in the comments below and if you have used any of these products tell me how you like them! I will also do an in depth review on these products mentioned in this post.

Thank you for reading and be beautiful!
